Keith's introduction to Remedy occurred several years ago. The lift chair he had purchased for his Mom was falling apart and the cost of a new one was prohibitive. He discovered Remedy through a web search and contacted them about purchasing a used lift chair. It caught him by surprise when he was told there was no charge for the item. His mom’s mobility and independence were sustained by the good will of a person they had never met, and he became aware of Remedy’s impact on families in need of medical equipment.

A few years later the position of Remedy Director became available and Keith decided to apply. His ministerial degrees provided no background in medical training, nor did his previous working experience. The last few years have been a revelation of how many people from all socio-economic backgrounds need help when they face chronic medical problems or crisis moments where medical equipment is part of the solution.

Remedy has allowed Keith to build relationships with caregivers, medical professionals, social service agencies and ministries that provide encouragement to people who live in the cities, counties and state we serve. Remedy is a valuable means of offering a tangible witness of God’s love for the individual by providing used medical equipment to accommodate their physical needs. Keith is humbled to be a part of Remedy.
